2. In short

We do not use analytics or tracking tools, advertising cookies or profiling. We only process personal data where it is technically necessary to run this website or when you contact us yourself.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When you visit the pages, Vercel automatically processes data sent by your browser (server log files): IP address, date and time of access, page requested, referrer URL, and browser type and operating system. This is necessary to deliver the website and keep it secure; the legal basis is our legitimate interest under Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Processing is based on a data processing agreement. For transfers to the USA, Vercel relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

4. Blog posts and images (Supabase)

Our blog posts and images are stored with Supabase Inc., on servers in Frankfurt am Main (EU). When you open the blog, your browser loads the images directly from Supabase's servers, which transmits your IP address. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing the content reliably (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). A data processing agreement including the EU Standard Contractual Clauses is in place with Supabase.

5. Fonts

The fonts on this website are hosted locally. No connection to Google or any other font provider is made when you visit the pages.

6. Storage in your browser

Your language choice (German/English) is saved in your browser's local storage so it is remembered on your next visit. It is not sent to us. This storage is strictly necessary for the function you requested (§ 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG). You can delete it at any time in your browser settings. We do not set any cookies for visitors.

7. Contact by phone

If you call us, we process your details to handle your request, such as a reservation (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR) or a general enquiry (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). We delete the details once they are no longer needed for this purpose, unless statutory retention periods apply.

8. Links to other websites

This website contains links, for example to Google Maps and Facebook. The providers' pages are only opened when you click a link; only then is data sent to the provider, who is responsible for processing it.

9. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). You can withdraw any consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3)). To exercise these rights, use the contact details above.
